Highlights
We worked on comparing 3-digit numbers using greater than and less than symbols in Math. (<, >) This was challenging for some students so please work on the homework sheet that will be sent home tomorrow. We took our spelling quiz and those will be marked and sent home tomorrow. In Science, we read an interesting article about a supervolcano in Yellowstone and a few more reading passages about rocks and minerals. Tomorrow, the students will take part in a few Mystery Science experiments that they'll be excited to talk about with you!

Important Information:
We have a Rocks and Minerals presentation from Scientists in School on Nov. 9th. We are in need of 4 parent volunteers. This year, the school has decided to use Sign-Up Genius. Parents whose CBE Volunteer Security Clearance have been approved, will receive an email from Sign-Up Genius. Please email us with any questions regarding this. There will be more opportunities this year to volunteer so please go to the office to fill out the police security clearance forms if you're interested in volunteering this year! It is also a good idea to check with us or the office to see if your name has been cleared or if your clearance has expired. We have a few parents that have expired and a few that have applied, but haven't been cleared just yet. More information about the presentation will be sent home tomorrow!
