Highlights:
Today we took part in a presentation in the gym. We listened to a string trio called, Infinitus Music. They perform using a cello, viola, and violin. It was very entertaining!
We have begun our next unit in math: Geometry. Today we started looking at several types of basic polygons: triangle, quadrilateral, pentagon, hexagon, octagon. There is no homework this weekend, but please return all homework pages for this unit beginning next week.
We took our last spelling quiz for grade 3 today! Please see their work in their green folders.
The grade 3's have been working on an art project that will be showcased at the celebration of learning next Thursday evening.
All library books are due back on June 8th. Our last library exchange will be on May 31st.
We ended the day grouping all of the grade 3s together to watch a video about Ryan's Well. Please remember to buy tickets if you'd like to be part of the weaving/pillow raffle!
