***We are looking for any egg cartons you may have. These will be used to make a Tunisian game called Mancala. If you have any extra egg cartons please send them with your child to school.***

Highlights:

We started our morning with a brain dump. The students all had a busy weekend. Our math lesson focused on naming and writing fractions. We had music and gym. After gym, we completed a fun writing activity. At random, student's selected a character, setting and problem and they had to write a story including what they selected. The students we excited to share their finished stories with the class.
After lunch, we finished sharing our stories and then had social studies. We're continuing our unit on Tunisia. We started with an informative video about a boy named Tarek, who's a camel racer. We continued learning about the geographical regions of Tunisia. We ended our day with art. We had a guided drawing activity. Today we drew a camel.
