We're continuing to work on patterns in math. This week we'll be focusing on decreasing patterns. Please continue to work on the practice sheets at home.
We had music and gym today. Mr. Kinsman spent a lot of gym time reminding the students to listen and stop talking. We talked a lot about what listening looks like today.
Today we started a new list of spelling words. The spelling works will get increasingly more difficult. A list of this weeks words went home today in their green folders. They are for the students to practice at home.

In Social Studies, we're continuing our mini unit on mapping. Today we were learning about the different continents and hemispheres. We also talked about the country, province, city and community we live in.
We continued working on our brain pockets in writing power. We enjoyed coming up with ideas to go into our imagination pockets.
