Monday September 25th 2017

Highlights:
We started off our day with math. We're continuing to work on decreasing patterns. Today we used the 100's chart to create decreasing patterns. For example, start at 100 and count back by 3's each time. 

We had music and gym this morning. We have 5 new spelling words today. We also had Daily 5 this morning. We're continuing to work on building our stamina for read to self and work on writing. We finished our Worst Day Ever writing today. 

After lunch, we had writing and social studies. Today is writing we introduced a new strategy for planning our writing. Its called 4 corner writing. It's a great way to plan out what we're going to write. In social studies, we are still working on mapping. Today we labeled a world map and labeled the cardinal directions in our classroom (north, south, east and west).

Tuesday - what, where, why, which, how
Wednesday - office, village, title, startle, were
