Highlights:
We started our morning with a 'brain dump.' The student's were able to share their weekend adventures. We had math and our lesson today focused on division. This was an introductory lesson on division. They will continue this lesson tomorrow. We had music and gym. After gym, we had spelling and writing. Today for writing, the student's had a 'free write.' They were able to write about whatever they wanted. Most student's wrote about their weekend or finished stories they started earlier.

After lunch, we continued to work on our Peru cube. The student's did learn about some of the celebrations and festivals Peru has. This will be included in their cube project. At the end of the day, we had weaving. Many student's forgot their weaving at home. Please remind them to bring it tomorrow.
Laser City draw was today. I'm so proud of how much reading the student's have done! We will be doing this challenge again in May. April's winner was - Keldon (Free game) and Priya (2 for 1 game).
May 4th - May The Fourth be With You Day – wear StarWars themed t-shirts or hoodies or shoes etc. Dress in white and black – Storm Trooper or yellow and black – like opening credits. If you have something – wear it. If not – no worries!!!!
Yearbook Order Forms - Due May 15th. They are $25 each.
PHS CELEBRATION OF LEARNING - May 24th - 6:00pm-7:30pm (see purple save the date card in their green folders)
Twin and Triplet Day – June 1st - Dress up like one another. This is optional. You can also wear your Panorama Hills Wear or our school colours.
